About Jhenah Telyndru

Jhenah Telyndru is the founder and Morgen of the Sisterhood of Avalon and serves as Academic Dean and lead instructor of the Avalonian Thealogical Seminary. She teaches Avalonian Intensive Workshops around North America and facilitates Pilgrimages to Sacred Sites in the British Isles. A priestess in the Avalonian Tradition, Jhenah has been dedicated to the work of Avalon for over two decades.

Her first book, Avalon Within: Inner Sovereignty and Personal Transformation Through the Avalonian Mysteries (Ninth Wave Press, 2005), was published to positive critical review, and is used by Avalonian women's groups and solitary practitioners world-wide. Jhenah is a contributing author to Which Witch is Which? A Concise Guide to Wiccan and Neo-Pagan Paths and Traditions (New Page, 2004), where she provides an overview of the Avalonian Tradition, and her writing has been featured in Circle Magazine, PanGaia, The Beltane Papers, and The Tor Stone magazines. Jhenah has also created a unique system of trance journey postures keyed into the alchemical landscape energies of ancient Avalon; this tool for inner pilgrimage can be experienced on the beautiful instructional DVD Trancing the Inner Landscape: Avalonian Landscape Postures.

In addition to her Avalonian disciplines, Jhenah has studied hermetic science, kabalistic philosophy, transpersonal astrology, archetypal tarot and depth psychology in an ongoing quest to further her understanding of the Universe as it manifests within and without. She holds degrees in Archaeology and Social Science, and has conducted professional study in Chiropractic and Network Spinal Analysis.
